A Day Just for You in the Heart of Frozen Waterfalls
Ice climbing in Korouoma is a winter adventure designed especially for you! Whether you come as a couple or with friends, this private outing (limited to 2 people) guarantees you a tailor-made experience in a breathtaking natural setting, far from the tourist bustle.
How Does the Day Unfold?
Your climbing day runs from 8am to 6pm, including transport. Here’s what awaits you:
- Early departure (8am): We meet at the meeting point and off we go to Korouoma!
- Short approach walk: Allow about 40 minutes of walking (round trip) to reach the waterfalls
- We gear up and I explain everything: I'll lend you all the equipment (boots and climbing gear) and show you the basic techniques - it's super accessible!
- 3 to 4 hours of climbing: Time for action! We adapt the session to your pace and the day's conditions
- Return (around 6pm): After this wonderful day of emotions, we head back at a leisurely pace

On your end, just remember to bring your warm clothing (gloves, hat, multiple layers… you know the drill!).

The Best Season
The ice climbing season in Korouoma runs from late November to early April. During this period, conditions are truly ideal: the ice is well-formed and stable, which virtually guarantees you’ll be able to climb!
The most popular months are December and January, especially around Christmas, when visitors from around the world come to enjoy the magic of the Lapland winter.

Ice climbing in Korouoma is booked by the day. The rate includes everything: my guidance, complete equipment, and even transportation. If you come as a pair, you can split the cost, which makes the adventure even more accessible!
You book the entire day, without counting hours or meters climbed. Total freedom to enjoy according to your desires and the conditions!
