How does the hike unfold?
Your day of exploration lasts between 6 and 7 hours in total. Here’s what awaits you:
- Early departure (8am-9am): We meet at the meeting point, with the time varying depending on the season
- 3 to 4 hours of walking: Follow the 4.5 km circuit to discover the ice waterfalls in all their splendor, all accompanied by explanations, anecdotes, …
- Friendly breaks: We take coffee or tea breaks around a fire during the route, perfect for warming up and chatting.
- Sharing moment: At the end of the hike, we gather around a campfire to enjoy hot drinks and sandwiches, while exchanging about the experience

I provide small crampons that adapt to all shoes. On certain portions of the trail, when there’s a bit of slope, the terrain can be quite icy, the crampons allow you to walk safely and with confidence.
For your part, simply remember to dress warmly with clothing suitable for the Arctic cold.

The best season
This hike is available year-round, but to fully enjoy the winter experience and see the waterfalls in their most spectacular frozen state, the ideal period runs from late November to early April. It’s during this season that the canyon reveals all its magic!
