TOM
UIAGM certified mountain guide
Hello! I’m Thomas, a mountain guide passionate about wide open spaces and Arctic nature. For nearly 20 years, I’ve been leading adventurers from around the world on unforgettable experiences in Finnish Lapland and the Lyngen Alps in Norway.
My philosophy: safety and respect for the environment
What truly matters to me isn’t athletic performance at all costs, but rather respect for the environment and the safety of my clients. My approach is simple: I don’t accept uncertainty in my professional practice.
What does that mean in practice? That I’m always ready to adapt the route if conditions aren’t optimal. If I see a risk, we change plans, we find another route, another summit. No unnecessary risks, ever.
I leverage my 20 years in the profession and my cautious, thoughtful approach to put safety above everything else.
My playground
Each region has its unique character, and I adapt my activities to the seasons to offer you the best experiences throughout the year.
I work primarily in three exceptional regions:
Finnish Lapland: Ice climbing and hiking in Korouoma canyon
The Lyngen Alps in Norway: Ski touring and mountaineering
The French Alps: Ecrins Massif, Vercors Massif, skiing, mountaineering, climbing
The Eastern Pyrenees: ski touring and climbing
That's what led me to accompany you

What drives me
What I love above all else is sharing my passion for the mountains and Arctic environments. Seeing my clients discover an ice fall for the first time, reach a Norwegian summit, or simply enjoy the tranquility of a hike in pristine nature, that’s what motivates me every day.
I also love the pioneering aspect of my work, particularly in Norway where we’re developing mountaineering in a territory that’s still preserved. It’s a privilege to introduce my clients to these exceptional places, far from the crowds and mass tourism.
My approach: tailor-made and flexible
Every outing is unique, every client is different. That’s why I favor small groups and private trips. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, I adapt to your level, your desires, and the conditions of the moment.
No rigid program: we discuss together, we assess conditions, and we build your tailor-made adventure. It’s this flexibility that makes all the difference.
